I wanted a quick, summer-friendly knitting project. I started this last weekend and finished it this morning while watching The King and I.

You might recognize this yarn from my very FIRST knitting project… my scarf last year.

I also started a Sourdough Starter this morning but I won’t post pictures of that HAPPY SATURDAY!

I wanted to make something for Paul’s grandmother for Christmas but time is a-running out!! I found a very cool, somewhat easy (I had to learn a few new skills like knitting with double pointed needles, a new way to increase and decrease and knit2tog), and quick project. This was the trial run… I think this took an hour and a half. Hopefully I will get to make several our tree and for others! weeeeeee…..

so I found my next knitting project… after the Slytherin scarf, 2 baby blankets, and i finish the 2 thigh-high leg warmers for Mary and the Gryffindor scar (aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!)

and THEN…

also, sonny already has a halloween costume for this year but next year….
